Kelli Rogers: The Political Ideology Quiz said I was "Next Generation Left", however I tend to be more conservative. There is no person that influences my political stance, it is fully based on my beliefs and my morals. As far as my political experience, I am not a very political person, I try to stay away from all things politics as much as possible. When it comes to voting, I have not been as active as I would like and hope to become more comfortable with this process and those running for any office.I am taking this course, because it is a requirement for my major, but I feel as though a lot of the information will be helpful in my future classroom. What I hope to get out of the class and learn is to understand the United States Government on a deeper level and I wish to learn more about my role as a citizen in the governmental process. For the "Civic Literacy" quiz, I scored 80% and on the "Current Events" quiz, I got 9 of 12 correct.
